 Post subject: Paladin Application from Guineapig

Application:

*Had to do this manually, the application form doesn't seem to be working.

Name:

* Guineapig

Class:

* Paladin

Level:

* 80

Race:

* Human

Talent Distribution and Armory link. (make sure you have logged out in your raiding gear)

* 52/17/2 - DS/DG Aura Mastery spec
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-tale ... ig&group=2
Currently specced for PvP, this is what my PvE spec looks like: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#sxAzgM0sV ... bZM:IdwVzc

Age

* 19

Geographic Location and Days and times typically available (please include time zone)

* Georgia, anytime after about 6 ST (I am in Eastern Time Zone)

Current and previous guilds. Also give the reason for leaving current guild

* The latest guild I've been a part of is Business Casual. We progressed through 10 man ICC heroic mode and made some good progress, 11/12 heroic, but we stopped progression because Levitas had some RL stuff come up. I am looking to move into 25 man progression and hopefully get some cool experience before Cataclysm ships.

Previous Raiding Experience (If you have a high amount of experience on a different character than the one you are apping with, please list them)

* RS10, 11/12 heroic 10 ICC, Ulduar 10/25 hard modes, All the out of date raids. Didn't raid during BC, raided a lot in vanilla- MC and BWL full clears and a little bit of AQ

Give 3 examples of what your class/spec can offer to the guild

* Massive tank healing, unmatched raid utility with abilities like Divine Sacrifice, Hand of Sacrifice/Protection/Salvation/Freedom, high level of survivability with plate armor and bubble

Give 3 examples of your class/spec that may not be commonly known (spells, mechanics, etc)

* The best in slot trinkets for a holy paladin don't drop in ICC, certain "on heal" abilities/items work double for Beacon of Light (i.e. Meteorite Crystal stacks), with 2-set bonus t10 you can completely mitigate the healing debuff from Divine Plea using Divine Illumination and Avenging Wrath.

Post a screenshot of your user interface.

Net Connection Speed/Type (how many times do you typically d/c)

* Cable, maybe 1 DC a week

Names of current guild members you know, if any

* Levitas, Systolic, Wevend, Yay

Summary of your background and interests

* Been playing video games since I was a little kid, a friend got me into WoW in 2005 and I've been playing ever since. I'm in the Army, stationed in Georgia. I consider myself a responsible individual. I love everything related to computers, and have become "the computer guy" in my company (not a good thing). I am a snowboarder and originally came from the Seattle area in Washington State (not many snowboarding options in GA). Yay is an RL friend and it would be cool to raid with him.

I'm not really interested in getting gear, I see it more as a means to an end; the end being completing something I find meaningful (like heroic LK kills, etc.). I am pretty much happy with anything, even a part-time raiding position if that is all that is available. I don't start drama, I left that stuff back home when I left for Basic.

We are an 18 an over guild. Due to this, guild chat and vent can be get a bit crazy. Pretty much no topic is off limits. Will this cause any issues for you? In other words do you have thick skin?

If under 18, will this cause any problems with the parents?

* Consider it a standing challenge for someone in the guild to say something crazier than an NCO.

If you could sit down to dinner with any person, real or fictional, alive or dead, who would it be, and why?

* I would love to have dinner with Yay and all my friends back home, who are now on the other side of the country.

Very skilled healer, have known him most of my life. Brought me into WoW and taught me most about about the game. I wouldn't be where I am in this game without this guy.
